Our colleagues at GIIN (the Global Impact Investing Network) continually develop and refine rigorous approaches to impact investing. In a new podcast interview, GIIN Co-founder and CEO Amit Bouri talks about scaling impact investment with integrity, the role of fiduciary duty, how to measure impact, and how to link with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Give it a listen.
Way back in 2016, GIIN launched a campaign to encourage investors to direct more capital to support the SDGs. The UN goals comprise a global agenda to end poverty by 2030, and impact investing will play a key role in getting us there.
As part of that campaign, GIIN profiled a number of impact investors to learn how they’re approaching investment to support the SDGs. You can read that series of profiles, published as Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: The Role of Impact Investing.
The Sustainable Finance Podcast, hosted by impact investing consultant Paul Ellis, is another great resource for understanding more about #impinv and hearing first-hand from international leaders in the field. Their real-life examples and resulting insights are quite valuable.
